How many guests can you draw during an event?
On average, I can sketch around 8–10 guests per hour, depending on the event flow and the level of detail requested. My packages are designed to accommodate various guest counts, and you can always extend sketching time or request to have additional portraits finished afterward in my studio and mailed to you.

Do couple portraits count as one or two illustrations?​
Each person illustrated counts individually with no repeat. For example, a couple drawn together in one sketch would count as two guests toward your total. This ensures every person is represented and receives their own keepsake-quality portrait.

Can you draw us from our Polaroid pictures?
Unfortunately, Polaroid pictures often don’t show enough detail for me to capture your unique features and outfits accurately. To ensure each sketch truly resembles you, I always take a quick reference photo myself before drawing.

What will you need from us on the wedding day?
All I need is:

Good lighting (plus shade or cover if outdoors)
I’ll bring all the art materials, display setup, and packaging supplies—everything else will be taken care of.

How do I book your live illustration service?
​Booking is simple. You can reach out through my contact form or email with your event date, location, and estimated guest count. Once I confirm availability, I’ll send over a short agreement and deposit invoice. Your date is officially secured once both are completed. Before your event, we’ll also finalize any custom touches such as your preferred color palette, paper style, or event signage.

Do you travel to other islands?
Yes. I’m based in Honolulu, Hawai‘i, and happily travel across the islands and to mainland destinations. Travel fees depend on your event location and will be clearly outlined in your personalized quote.
